The mission of the College of Science and Engineering is threefold:

• to prepare students for careers across a broad range of science, engineering, mathematics, and technology
  disciplines
• to provide all students with core knowledge in science and mathematics
• to provide future educators with the scientific and mathematical knowledge needed for K-12 teaching in the 21st
  century

To accomplish its mission, the college maintains an academic atmosphere conducive to excellence in teaching and research and enforces high standards of performance for faculty and students.
