ACS CENTRAL TEXAS SECTION OUTSTANDING SENIOR AWARD

General Information:

  • Awarded to an outstanding senior student majoring in chemistry
  • Faculty nominated

Award Amount: Annual award of up to $200

CRADDOCK SCHOLARSHIP

Up to (9) scholarships are awarded annually to qualified students majoring in Chemistry, Physics, English, or History who are entering Texas State's University Honors College.

General Information: 

  • Freshman applicants must have composite ACT scores of 27 or above or minimum scores of 1270 on the SAT or rank in the upper 10 percent of their high school graduating class
  • Transfers and Texas State University students may apply if their overall GPA is 3.5 or above
  • Recipients are expected to enroll in at least 15 hours each semester and earn a minimum GPA of 3.5

Award Amount: Annual award of $1,500

KEY-PARKS SCHOLARSHIP

This scholarship is awarded to chemistry majors who show the ability and potential for advanced study in chemistry.

  • award is based on student’s freshman record at Texas State University

Award Amount: Annual award of up to $1,500

LOIS ANN COFER MONZINGO MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP IN CHEMISTRY

This scholarship is awarded to an entering freshman who is a declared chemistry major and will be a full-time student.

General Information

  • Entering student must be in top 25 percent of graduating class.
  • Renewable up to four years if recipient maintains a minimum 3.0 GPA , is a full-time student, and remains a chemistry major

Award Amount: Annual award of up to $1,000

Application Deadline: May 31
