Civil Engineering Declaration Form

Fill out this form only if you are currently a College of Science and Engineering major. If your current major is not within the College of Science and Engineering, please make an appointment.

We strongly suggest that you make an appointment with an academic advisor to fully understand the requirements of the Civil Engineering degree.

The Civil Engineering major is available starting fall 2019. If you started college before fall 2019, your catalog year will need to change to 2019. Do you consent? *
I understand that this degree requires MATH 2473. If I already took MATH 2472, I will need to take either MATH 2473 (preferred) or MATH 3373. *
I understand that this degree requires MATH 3376. If I already took MATH 3377, I will still need to take MATH 3376. *
I understand that this degree requires CHEM 1335. If I already took CHEM 1341, I will need to take either CHEM 1335 (preferred) or CHEM 1342. *
I understand that this degree requires CS 1342. If I already took CS 1428, I will still need to take CS 1342. *
I understand that this degree requires PHIL 1320. If I already took PHIL 1305, I will still need to take PHIL 1320. *
I understand that this degree requires ECO 2301. If I already took a social and behavioral science OTHER than economics, I will need to take ECO 2301. *
I understand that the soonest I can graduate with a Civil Engineering degree is Spring 2023. *
I understand that my Degree Audit will not show Civil Engineering as my major until the Fall 2019 semester. *
I understand that it is my responsibility to mention I declared a Civil Engineering major whenever seeking advising. This is because my Degree Audit and current major will not reflect a Civil Engineering major until approximately August 20th, 2019. *
